About the Guild
Lakeside Artists Guild brings the skills of the best local and regional musicians and artists to the beautiful venues and stages in Northwest Indiana.
We host events in the communities where we live and seek to grow and connect artists and art lovers. We craft experiences where people meet and memories are made. Whether at one of our performance events, a corporate event or your family’s special life moments. Our guild hopes to revive the intimacy of live performances where people interact and enjoy spending time together, all while experiencing a broad range of edifying musical art that knits the community together on a new and different level.
Art changes the world, for better or worse. Art changes us by changing how we perceive and react to the world we live in. Does the art we consume make us better? What kind of art would we need to help mend what is broken in ourselves and our communities? Great art communicates what words cannot and helps us find the answers to these questions.
The Good, the True, and the Beautiful
These are not new ideas. These ideas have worked to produce art that has excited people through the ages. This pursuit must be encouraged if we want a more beautiful, and virtuous world. Our guild seeks to give voice to artists striving for the good, the true, and the beautiful.
In this pursuit, Lakeside presents events that bring people together with our fun, eclectic music offerings, and various concert events. We also provide a wide selection of music for private and corporate events.
The lakeside vision is further pursued through the training of our youth. Lakeside Academy seeks to train young artists who will become the next generation of great musicians.
Great art should gather us around the ideas and joys we have in common and acknowledge our differences without becoming divisive. Each Lakeside artist can form their convictions from their experience, intellect, and inspiration. Respect for faith, family, and a belief in the dignity of every person despite their flaws. Lakeside Artists Guild is a group that shares this vision.
